Enter passive site surveys, a valuable method for network optimization, with Ekahau Site Survey Pro standing out as the go-to tool for conducting these surveys. Ekahau is a leading provider of wireless network design and analysis software, providing organizations with a comprehensive solution for wireless site surveys. One of the key benefits of using Ekahau Site Survey for passive site surveys is its ability to collect data passively, without disrupting the normal operation of the network. Pre-deployment site surveys are performed by collecting data from existing wireless devices, such as laptops, smartphones, and other Wi-Fi-enabled devices. This data is used to map the wireless network, identify areas where the network may be weak, and take steps to improve the network's performance. Another benefit of Ekahau Site Survey Pro is its speed. The software is designed to be user-friendly and easy to use, allowing administrators to quickly and efficiently survey the site. This can save organizations time and money compared to traditional site surveys, which can be time-consuming and require specialized equipment. Our Orion US Network team conducted a pre-deployment WiFi Survey in Montreal, Canada.  We observed details related to the office buildings and sketched detailed maps, scaled the map, and observed the real-time modeling to gather evidence to support the proposed network design. The WiFi survey was performed using Ekahau Site Survey Pro and Ekahau Sidekick. We ensured that all designated areas of the buildings had WiFi signals.  Wireless Signal Criteria  - 2.4 and 5GHz bands were observed - Minimum RSSI threshold - 65dBm - Signal to Noise Ratio (SNR) Threshold \> 25dB - Ap RSSI overlap target ~20% Total Area Covered: 79,864 Sq Ft.
